Title: Who, in your opinion, was the truest follower of Islam in modern history?

Is it Osama bin laden, who had been murdering hundreds of thousands of innocent people; of Khomeini, who openly called for jihad against the west; or taliban, who reject anything modern in favor of Stone Age environment; or Jew-killing terrorists Hezbollah and Hamas; or space resident Elijah muhammed; or a group of Nigerian black muslim child rapists boko haram; or somebody else?

I chose the first but you should have allowed multiple answers. I think other than Elijah Mohammad, they are all equal in their following of Islam.

Elijah Mohammad was not a Muslim. He was a black cult leader. Malcolm X actually became a real Muslim and that's why he was assassinated. His followers wouldn't accept whitey if whitey converted to Islam but Malcolm X wanted to accept whitey converts after his pilgrimage to Mecca when he saw what Islam was really about. Of course the founder of Islam was white but many blacks try to downplay the whiteness of dark skinned whites. That's why they are attracted to Islam. They think Arabs aren't really white.

I voted it for Boko-Haram, but in my opinion every muslamic on this earth is almost equal in this respect and all of them are vehement, real and true followers of the muslam albeit overtly or covertly.

Barack Hussein Obama.   Through taqiyya,   he's recognized by most people ( not me ) as the President of the United States.   There's no one in modern history other than possibly former Egyptian President Muhammad Anwar El Sadat that used taqiyya more effectively from the standpoint of having the greatest negative impact.

The taliban since they imposed dar al islam islamic regime while also providing for al qaeda to carry out 911 attacks, and they are notorious pedophiles.  Muslims could not aspire to more islamic deeds than that.

Quite possibly ISIS. They are purists and fundemdntalists. The Taliban kept some local Afghan flavor.
