It's no shock that citizens of the Nazi country would convert en masse to the Nazi faith.

It seems he was trapped through some muslamic GF , then converted and put in to single member sleeping cell, then psychologically blasted through love make up and break up and prepared to perform a German 911 to reach to the paradise as everybody else among them is doing.
