What I do not comprehend is if Bruce is implying that in terms of gender he feels feminine in his mind, why would that warrant surgery? You can feel masculine on the inside despite being a woman - 'tomboys', for example, and most aren't transsexuals. He says he hasn't had his genitalia altered, so what is the point? Either way, every single one of his trillions of cells boasts a Y chromosome. He will not have the ability to menstruate or give birth, and he does not possess female reproductive attributes, so from a biological standpoint, he is not a woman ('womb-man'). If I were to feel like a cat sometimes that doesn't logically warrant surgery to look like a cat.
In terms of sexual orientation, does Bruce identify himself as being a lesbian now, considering he still has Kris?
'Sex' is failsafe - one of the reasons G-d created two distinct chromosomes, to 'code' if a person develops into a boy, or a girl. No amount of destructive tinkering can change that.
There exist people uncomfortable with whatever ethnic group they were born into. The key to combating this however is psychotherapy sessions, not surgery.

Good comparison Debbie... Indeed the days of Noach were confused in so many ways. Men marrying Men, Women marrying Women, Men and Women marrying and knowing animals, animals mating between species, sexual perversions we don't even know today... But today we see the situation is worse than it was in Sodom and yet Hashem remains merciful. How long will the mercy continue we cannot say, but although his kindness is everylasting, his patience is not always forever.
