I just installed win 10 free on several PCs and virtual machines.
Some things failed to work. But it looks almost like a modified version of win 7 or a cross between win7 and win8.
It also has some background programs running hidden from you.
I've found the following:
* it updates and reboots without telling you.
* your PC becomes a file source for other people on the internet when they update their computers. That's right, they get their updates from your computer - people out there that you don't know. That also means your internet connection will be bogged down.
* there's other unknown network traffic going on
* its likely spying on you
On the up side:
* free firewall, anti-virus, anti-malware etc...
* they hid that stupid metro thing ( those large rectangular boxes)

How you get it for free? I'm thinking about buying a new computer with Win 10 on it. Good to know that their is free anti-viruz

download the "preview". Its 4GB.
then just update it.
do it quick. not sure how long it'll last.
also if you already have win7/8 you can freely upgrade your computer.
any new pc will have win 10 already on it.

ACK does win 10 support aerospace?
My Win 8 doesn't and I have to keep using my Win 7 for recording my desktop screen with fraps.

How do not have 4GB?
Can you right click on your C: drive and choose properties?
Then post the "Free space" and the "Used space" here.

I'm not familiar with "aerospace".
But there are definitely compatibility issues. Win 10 does break stuff. The first thing I noticed is that my installed Symantec antivirus no longer works. And at work, my IBM Lotus Notes doesn't run.
I don't know what your tech level is. You can always try it out with VirtualBox.
I have win 10 installed on several physical machines and on some virtual machines. If you want, I can try it out for you. And again, I couldn't find what that "areospace" is other than Lockheed Martin.
