Very interesting article.  Admirable group of people who saw past the propaganda and brain-washing of their "sect" and choose a different path.  I would love to meet some of them one day.

Turn that anti-Israel extremism into its opposite, the Satmar hassidim as a pro-Israel force would bring Moshiah in haste if they sided with Kahanist Jews.

Back in the day many of the Rav's most loyal followers were Satmar Hasidim. When no one else acted the Rav zt'l used the JDL to protect Jews from vicious Nazis and black gangs in williamsburg in particular.

That is a good thing if they proactively change their view in this way and G-d willing it eventually becomes the norm among them. However, don't expect anything of that nature from the likes of Neturei Karta, there is really no hope for those meshuganas.

Where there's money and evil, theres no meshuganas, there's evil people.
