Regarding scenario #2, where Trump is the nominee and there is no third party: Would sitting the election out be better than a write-in campaign? Write-in campaigns have won a few state primaries historically, and although it has no real chance of success, it could accomplish more than sitting the election out. Plus since other elections are taking place in addition to the presidential in November, I don't think conservatives should just stay home or Democrats would win them all. I am seeing on social media that there are many people considering writing in Ted Cruz if he doesn't get the nomination. Ted Cruz cannot run third party because he promised to support the nominee at the outset when everyone was worried about Trump running third party, but we could still write him in.

The people who are voting for Trump or Hillary are blind. They will continue the present downward spiral for America and Israel....Its hard to understand, but then if one understands faith and the Holy spirit, one knows that the Holy Spirit is there to guide people to have the wisdom to make the right decisions. Otherwise man is left to his own poor judgment.

I don't see how a third party wins this early, but the convention promises to do things never done to get Kasich in as the nominee.
