Despite their growth rate, the influence of the religious on events actually seems to be waning! This is a sure sign of Hashem's disfavour with them! "The Haredim are irrelevant!" (Rav Meir Kahane 1987).

The hashkofo of ther leaders and rebbes is not in accord with Kahanism (ie Torah-true Judaism), and the calibre of the average Haredi is very paltry.

Just like 4/5th dies in the Plaugue of Darkness, so most Haredim will not merit to witness the hisgalus: they may observe the mitzvos - but they don't observe the Torah!

As Chaim often says, quoting his grandmother: de greyse di bord, de grayse de ganav - "The bigger the beard, the bigger the thief!"
