Jorge is trying to force this upon the US, with the excuse being that it's part of NAFTA. 

There are many politicians from both political parties who are against NAFTA.  They need to legislate a bill to take the US out of it.

I doubt it will happen, there is too much money being spread around to politicians on both sides of the aisle
