I know that you mean well...so we if what you say is true, we all should live out each day as if it were our last!

Yes - I suppose I too apologize to anyone I've wrongfully offended. L'shana Tova everyone!

That goes for me, too (but it'll take longer).

I must ask forgiveness for not relieving myself on the koran enough times. When I was at work, I forgot to bring it with me to the restroom. Next year I'll do better. ;D
-
jdl forever, lol....yes, as this new year approaches, let each of us pledge to flush at least one koran down one toilet this coming year.
on a somewhat more inspiring note, I hope all of you you have a spiritually rejuvenating Jewish New Year, an easy fast and a Divinely forgiving Yom Kippur, a Divinely protective Sukkot, and a joyously learned Simchat Torah holiday! Chag Sameyach!
-
Amen to all that above: :)
-
Happy new year !!

I posted this in a different section of the forum but there was no response so I'll post it here:
Over the years, did anyone ever have trouble taking off from a job or from school?
Shana Tova!
-
No. Not me
-
Shana tova! :)

Thanks... Happy new Year to all!

At my job working at the Beverly Hills library, a large percentage of whose patrons are Jewish, they assured me that my not wanting to work on the Sabbath and other major Jewish holidays would never be an issue. Well, the far nicer of my managers always stuck to her word, but my other boss kept putting pressure on me to work on the Sabbath. He also tried to get me to believe in JESUS. He had a favorable attitude toward me until he found out how pro-Israel I am, then gave me a hard time until he found a way to get me fired.

to you all too.

Happy New Year :)
