Donald Trump’s ex-wife Marla Maples is a Christian who keeps the Jewish Sabbath and eats kosher.
A profile posted Thursday by The Daily Beast said that Maples, a Baptist, regularly attends church, “but keeps Shabbat, eats kosher, and studies Kabbalah.”
Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, left his first wife, Ivana, for Maples, whom he married in 1993. The couple, who have one child, Tiffany, divorced in 1999.
My question is divided into 2.
What would your attitude towards this be if you found that she keeps the Sabbath according to all the halachic rules of Shabbat observance?
And what would your attitude be if you found out that she keeps the Sabbath in a general way , but not according to all the halachic rules of Shabbat?

Non Jews are not supposed to observe the sabbath like Jews.
They are not required to keep kosher but if they want to they can.
-
she is liable to the death penalty if she keeps shabbos.
-
Good for her but it doesn't make her a better person.

I think Chaim Jr. is back.
We're not living in Biblical Israel so whether or not Maples would receive the death penalty is irrelevant.
Otherwise, I think Ms Maples is trying to find some meaning in her life. I guess being a home wrecker didn't work out to well for her in the long run.

I've know another Christian who is doing the same.... He said he started doing it because he felt closer to God. But coming from M. Maples... it could just be some sorta fad.... like a gluten-free diet.

The fact that it says she is studying "Kabbalah" means she is a fake. She's probably in the cult that teaches phony "Kabbalah" to people like Madonna.
