This same rabbi wrote in his Yalkut Yosef that father can prevent his son from saying Kaddish for his deceased mother and that father should be honored more than a mother even if father is deceased and mother is still alive. And this is whom almost all Sephadic Jews worship. This is whom they chose as their Chief Rabbi.

This "shas" movement and their rabbis are pure evil, make no mistake about it. Their writings should be trashed and their smichas dismissed as fake.

Before anyone here will attack me for "disrespecting a rabbi or alleged Torah scholar", check out his writings for your own. It's unfortunate today that in Judaism an evil person can hide under his supposed knowledge of sacred texts and the "rabbi" title.
