It looked to me like the big doofus officer was applying a  lot of pressure on the Rabbi's one arm.   I think he would have broken the Rabbi's arm if he didn't stand up.  We need some big, strong heavy Jews  to go up and pray, so they aren't so easy to manhandle.

Of cause Jews should have the right to pray at the temple mount. But I think his point that all religions should be allowed to pray there is dangerous for the people. Some sections of the temple mount are even dangerous for most Jews according to my understanding.
