Toleration does not equate to affirmation or approval. It is to Israel's credit that gay people can feel safe there while they don't feel safe among the Palestinians. This is something we can use against anti-Israel leftists.

I did not say I like homosexuality or find the concept of sodomy appealing.
On the other hand, what two consenting adults do in private is none of my business, or society's. That is what "tolerance" means. ("Affirmation" means one agrees with it, thinks it's great, and advocates making gay marriage equal to monogamous heterosexual marriage, which I do not.)
Right now, a lot of gay activists are hopping on board the Islamofascist bandwagon, because it's the fashionable thing to do among leftists. "Hate Israel," "Hate America," "Third World good, Euro-American Civilization bad," and so on. Same with many leftist women, by the way. Both need to be educated as to how Islamofascists treat gays and women.
