First sentence is the best: "The proposed amendment would specify that "the mother is a woman, the father is a man" and permit only married couples to adopt children."

I agree, but I see a mother who lost her husband and child in a car crash G-d forbid who isn't planning on marrying again and gets rejected when she wants to adopt, and she has money for it. The law is good but it needs to be porous for exceptions like her to get through.

Good point, I hope they make it possible for heterosexual women to adopt children. This is a huge step for Hungary opposing western liberalism.
