If he is making a real teshuva here out of love for Hashem and not fear than all his averot will turn into mitzvot instead of nothing and this will be a serious person. The Noachide movement may benefit from one like that. For now he's on the Catholic thing, good that it makes him leave sin but better he learn truth on how to perfect the details of his world.

Wow. So he did the first part of the Rashi, the second part was the gem was for a virgin mary statue. There's another aspect of the morality of keeping corrupt leaders from spending all their money and murder their citizens with starvation, but he has a ways to go first.
