I think Croats and Russians don't think of each other as "Slavic brothers".

In 2007, Croatia beat England, which enabled Russia to enter the UEFA European Football Championship. Russian media printed "Hvala, Hrvati! Hvala, braćo!" on their cover pages (Thank you, Croats! Thank you, brothers!).

They blew our brotherhood by attacking Ukraine.
