Do you think he's gay?
-
Torah forbids lashon hara. You can only say that before a Sanhedrin at the time of the Temple in case the person is going to be judged, and only if you are absolutely sure
-
I can't believe we're actually discussing the Sanhedrin and Derek Jeter in the same sentence! He'd be cracking up laughing if he could see us now.
-
Damn it to hell, leave Derek Jeter alone! What are you, a Red Sox fan?

Ha ha! Good one!

I'm a Yankee hater and proud of it.
-
I'm a Mets fan but not a Yankee hater. I follow and root for the Mets in the regular season. But if the Yanks make it into the post season and the Mets don't (as is so often the case), then I will root for the Yanks (unlike many die-hard Mets fans who will root against the Yanks in the post season. I had arguments with my previous gf when she did this since I felt it was poor sportsmanship even though we are both Mets fans). I try not to punish the Yanks themselves for the sins of their owner too much.

I come home and see that we are running out of important topics to wonder about Derek Jeter? He is a good guy, hes one of the few sports figure that has taken the role of captain and didn't do it out of steroids use. He plays from his talent.
-
You're are not a real mets fan Daniel. If you were, you won't root for the Yankees at anytime.
-
I don`t know who is Derek Jeter....
-
I'm too sure but... he's mid 30's and still not married and no children yet?
-
:) Thank you Yacov for the information!

Well then, do we commit lashon hora when we talk about Hillary or Olmert?
-

In "celebrity culture", isn't it considered cool for people to be bachelors and bachelorettes and to avoid committing to someone through marriage?

Yes I believe that's true, however there no stopping them from having illegitimate children and having many "baby-mamas"
-
I'm tempted to answer yes only because I'm a Mets fan. To tell the truth, he probably runs around with a different woman every night. The ladies love him.

Give me hockey anyday instead,, kellymaureen, you'd like this. Hockey is a fantastic sport.. Take a look.. Still only sport left where whites are dominating in lol.

It is permitted to expose those who we are sure that are doing evil, so it's ok to talk about Olmert's crimes of ethnical cleansing of Jews and neglecting Eretz Yisrael. It's not lashon hara, He himself admits that he tries to give away Eretz Yisrael to terrorists!!! And the same applies to Hillary if she speaks out for terrorist Palis!!!!
But when someone may be inocent, or when it is a private sin, it causes no good to speak, so it is in vain, and LASHON HARA

I could care less about an over paid moron that can hit a ball. He could be cross dressing on weekends for all I care. This is JTF, not Entertainment Tonight.

That's an excellent point!

I answered "I don't know" and "I don't care".

Not gay
