Post by: Jasmina on October 10, 2007, 08:19:04 PM: Tennis!!!! I have been playing since I was 5 yo, at 8 I won my first tournament and nothing stoped me until my 17!!! then I entered the Medical School, but I still am a Tennis Instructor in my country, and tennis umpire from time to time.... :)

I use to live right near Shea stadium and would go from time to time it was a nice day out. The last time i was there more years ago then I care to say I already saw the change it was like going to a third world stadium. People tossing beer bottles down and drinks and food being tossed down into the next level not fun. If you do go to see a game skip the New York Stadium's the people here are pure animals.

In Philadelphia they had to make a courtroom in the stadium for the football games to deal with all the drunk fans.

I've been playing for over many years... I played in college and even in Europe while in Med school there.
I'm relatively short at ONLY 6' ft but I can JUMP.LOL

Israeli basketball is fantastic, the games I saw in Israel were some of the best games I've ever seen, I'm a bigger fan of the Israeli Basketball league than I am of the NBA.

Australia is ranked 9th in the world at basketball... with standouts like Andrew Bogut, C. J Bruton, Brett mahar, Mathew Neilsen, Glen Saville, Jason smith.. and the ever present SHANE HEAL

While Babe Ruth and Mikey Mantel had problems beneath their surfaces, they portrayed a great image to many Americans during the peak of their careers. Those were the days when professional sports players showed respect to their fans, their country, and their families. Baseball is not the same anymore.
