Title: Rabbi Schochet defends Chabad

"Dr. Berger worries that the numerous Lubavitchers holding influential positions as chief-rabbis, rabbis, and other religious functionaries throughout the world, threaten the future of Judaism. He wants them dismissed. Question: were these people appointed because they are Lubavitchers or because of their qualifications, including requisite scholarship?"

Rabbi Elazar Menachem Man Shach (a Rabbi with a "little" more weight than Rabbi Schochet): "Chabad is the closest religion to Judaism".

I love my Chabad brothers, but they and other Hassidim are a minority in the Nation of Israel.

Also Shach was in favor of giving up land to the Arabs the Rebbe,ZT"L,ZY"A was vehemently against giving up even 1 centimeter of land in Israel!!!

Our holy Rebbe taught the Noahide laws from the beginning of his leadership in 1951. He created the modern Noahide movement. He is like a father to me.
