Title: How come Hindus don't fight amongst themselves or with Buddhists?
Post by: Trumpeldor on October 17, 2007, 01:23:16 AM: Hinduism is really practiced so differently by its followers and it can be argued that Buddhism is a bastardization of it. Why, despite these profound differences, are these religions peaceful while Islam is not- both inwardly and outwardly?

Post by: Sarah on October 17, 2007, 03:45:07 PM: I’m sorry but there is a tremendous amount of corruption in the Hindu society, especially the ideologies on class. Buddhists and Hindus do fight but on small scales e.g. in villages etc, though Buddhists are extremely peaceful.

Then you could say the same thing about Christians who have fought in the past.

The answer really is that they each have their own land and they accept that. Neither wants to convert the other and they are happy among themselves
