This is an interesting debate.  Thanks for sharing, Tzvi.

Im listining, (besides the bias I might obviously have starting in hearing it) I have to say that Rabbi Mizrahi is crushing that guy, and also that guy isnt straightfoward adressing the Rav's points and questions till now. Lets see. (Im listining now, still on part 1)

Is it just me, or does Danny the missionary seem to be a Jewish guy? I'm serious, the mannerisms, the look, he reminds me of Mayor Mike Bloomberg. I bet you he had Jewish ancestry.

Yeah, see? I could tell!  :)

So get a real gentile in there to debate, not some mixed up Jewish boy, hey we can debate amongst ourselves and it's simply preaching to the choir, I mean, you know, if we had preachers, and choirs for that matter.  ;D

He's probably more interested in convincing himself than anything else,  note that he's come back to debate with his people? I bet he eventually comes back to Judaism, I'm telling you.

Its wierd me too, he looks like this philosophy teacher I had who was also a Jew. -but om not sure if its becuase I saw him and could tell he was a Jew or because maybe when my friend told me a couple of weeks ago about this class that I missed if he said Rabbi Mizrahi had a dabate with a missionary, a christian or a Jew who became christian (if the last then it was in my subconscious so thats why when I saw the video I said to myself is that guy Jewish?
By the way if it was a gentile I bet he wouldnt have been as stubbern and dismissing the points one after another. And the fact that it was a Jew, gives even more proof becuause the Jews have the biggest Yeter Hara (the satan works on them the most, and a Jews evil inclination cant be compared to a gentiles).
I would also probably agree that he will come back, expecially if he will keep contact with Rabbi Mizrahi and if he honestly would want to know the truth and follow it.

New Yorker has a point.  It would be a better debate if the guy was a regular missionary who wasn't a Jew beforehand.

You Jews  ::) . What difference does it make? Anyway these questions were asked to the previous Pope, and passed to some chief priest (something like that) in Bethlehem, no one could answer these questions.

Why was this removed from the main board? Who transfered it here? It would be better to put it up there because more people go on that board and unfortunatly dont go on the Torah section.

Because it belongs in the Torah section.  And keeping it on the main section will eventually turn into fighting  as has happened before with similar topics of this nature.  Those who partake in such fighting stay out of the Torah section.
