Mexican-American Mayor To Host Israel's Anniversary

(IsraelNN.com) When Israel's 60th anniversary is celebrated across the United States later this year, the Los Angeles ceremony honoring the occasion will not be led by one of many proud Californian Jews, but by LA's Mexican-American mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa.

The 55 year-old politician has been called an honorary Jew by some who know Villaraigosa for speaking fondly of his youth in the once-Jewish neighborhood of Boyle Heights, elevating Jewish staffers to top positions, and even attending an occasional synagogue service.

LA's mayor is currently a national co-chair of Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.

Oh yeah, he's in every Chabad Telethon and event.
I always watch the Telethon so I know.
He would be ok in my book but he's pro-amnesty isn't he?

Don't be fooled by him.  Liberal Jews give him campaign contributions.  So that's probably why he'll try to give an impression once in a while that he cares about Israel.
