A summary of some points from the Democrat debate
« on: April 17, 2008, 08:13:30 AM »
1.  In a question about Jeremiah Wright, he was basically asked, "What did you know and when did you know it?"   He was spinning his response.  He was asked why he had asked Wright to give the introduction for Obama's announcement of his candidacy, but then decided to cancel Wright the day before after realizing that Wright might be too controversial; so if Obama thought he was too controversial, why has he been with that church for more than 20 years and why did he claim to not know anything about Wright's statements regarding 9/11, about Aids, etc?

Obama's response was awful and didn't answer the question.

2.   He was asked a question about how he had accused people of clinging to religion, guns, "anti-immigrant sentiment" (refusing to use the term illegal aliens) and anti-trade sentiment.

His response implied that religion, the 2nd amendment, enforcing immigration laws and fair trade, are all irrelevant.  And that he kept pleading that people should just be bitter and angry at the Bush administration since we might be in a recession.

Hillary stated that people's views of religion, the 2nd amendment, etc., are independent of how the feel about the government.  And that these issues are important to people regardless of whether they're happy with the federal government or disappointed in it.  Obama clearly doesn't understand that.

3.   Obama was actually asked about his relationship with William Ayers.  Obama spinned around the question and basically tried to accuse the moderators of being "too decisive" or "playing politics."  If Obama can't handle the questions, he shouldn't be a candidate.

I think Hillary mentioned that Obama attended a fund-raiser at Ayers' residence when Obama ran for the state senate.

All three of these issues show that Obamas' character is dismal.  It is in no way worthy of being the president.  He refuses to take responsibility and refuses to admit his relationship with Wright, Ayers, or his disrespect to those who consider religion, 2nd amendment, immigration laws or trade, to be important issues to them.

       4.     In a question about taxes, Obama was reminded about how he mentioned in an interview that he'd want to basically double the capital gains tax.  And one of the moderators told him that when the capital gains tax has been decreased, revenue gained by the government has actually increased.  In contrast, when the tax has increased, the revenue has declined.  So the moderator asked Obama for an explanation as to why he wants to increase the tax?   And Obama gave an awful explanation that made no sense.

The following is an mp3 download of Jackie Mason speaking - satirically, but really seriously - about the Black Muslim U.S. Democratic Party Presidential nominee, Barrack Hussein Obama and his vicious, vile and hateful anti-American “Pastor”, Jeremiah Wright, ysv”z.

You can download it by going to: http://rapidshare.com/files/108231381/Jackie_Mason.mp3.html     or - http://www.2shared.com/file/3158475/e42a9b14/Jackie_Mason.html - follow the links.  It is taken from a show by Yishai Fleisher on IsraelNationalRadio.
(This is in no way approving Mason, his comedy acts or his other work-related activities in general.

Do you recall more specifically what that question was about it?

Another point I forgot to mention:

Remember how Obama tried to make an equivalency between his mother--who feared gangs-- and Jeremiah Right?

In Wednesday night's debate, Obama insulted Senator Tom Coburn by comparing him to William Ayers.  He considers Coburn's position on abortion to be like Ayers' actions.

The media is brutally criticizing the ABC debate hosts Charles Gibson and George Stephanopoulos for finally asking Barack Hussein Obama some tough questions. The media is putting other reporters on notice that it is forbidden to ask Obama any real questions.

Here's the article in the Zoo York Times:

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/18/us/politics/18moderator.html

This was the first time in this very long campaign that Obama finally was seriously questioned. And Obama did very poorly trying to answer. You can be sure that the reporters in the future will return to their policy of throwing Obama only softballs. This massive criticism from the Obama-loving Bolshevik media is a warning that journalists who ask Obama real questions will jeopardize their careers.

       Another good point.

On the beginning of the Hannity&Colmes show last night, a clip was played of Sean's radio show and it showed him talking to George Stephanapolous.  Sean must have asked him something relating to the debate (maybe about how debate moderators keep on ignoring issues) and then all of a sudden, he was able to convince George to put the question about Ayers.

So now the ultra-liberals are pissed off at George.

Character is important and Obama's character is dismal.
