Can You Be Righteous And Evil At The Same Time?

What if you've done tremendous good in life, but have also done some very evil things?  How will G-d view you?

What if you rob from the rich to give to the poor, like Robin Hood?  Let's say you could somehow steal some of Prince Achwaleed's cash to give to JTF?  Wouldn't this be worthy?

What would you define as evil?

Well, "Thou Shall Not Steal," G-d says, so technically you would be breaking a Commandment in the above example and be considered "evil."  Yet, you would also be breaking it to give to a good cause.

I think Arial Sharon and Bibi Netanyahu fall into that catigory. While they have done some very bad things I think the Good by fat out weighs the bad. If you kill one you have killed a world and if you have saved a life you have saved a world Both Sharon and Netanyahu have saved far more then they have hurt. I feel that God will judge them favourably

Yes, Sharon is a great example.  My father served under him in the Israeli Army and always told me what a great General he was.  However, after being a loyal JTF member, I learned of Sharon's great faults giving away Jewish land.  So, it is a very interesting question, and one difficult to answer.

  Well, what about Oscar Schindler?  NOW, THAT man was righteous to ME.

Schindler's another good example, CCG.  Overall I agree he was righteous, but you have to wonder if he would have saved those lives if he was not benefiting from it monetarily.
