Why should the candidates be uninvited?  They are people with political clout and people (for better or worse) listen to them.  If Sarah Palin would speak at a rally like this, people would pay attention, and then the issue would be taken more seriously than it is.

Excellent point.    The publicity that this event would have received would have been far greater if Sarah Palin appeared.   Now,  the media will probably ignore the demonstration for the most part.

Hold on a minute people.

I just called the number Ebb22 listed and actually got Malcom Hoenlein on the phone.  He said that ALL the candidates were uninvited, as they didn't want it to be a partisan thing.
Even if this is true, Lisa, you know full well that this decision was reached ONLY for the purpose of excluding Sarah Palin. This Ira Forman schmuck (yimach schmo to him) probably got one phone call from the campaign of his gd (Obama) telling him to drop Palin or else, and the good widdle Jew meekly complied.

What a wasted opportunity.  Having either of those women would have caused America to wake up and take notice.  This is beyond disgraceful.  People in general haven't really thought about the issue of iran enough.  People should understand, that there is no other issue that matters if this particular issue isn't resolved.  The economy, healthcare, immigration, the environment, infrastructure...etc, none of those issues will matter at all if iran gets nuclear weapons.

The Jewish group who organized this rally understand this, I would assume, or they wouldn't have organized a rally.  How can they place a greater importance on making Hillary Clinton happy than having someone like Palin come and speak at their event?  What are they thinking?  I will never understand people like this.

Ultra-liberal Jews whined and they have ruined the event.  They could care less about Israel.  They only care about being married to the Democrat party.  The National Jewish Democrat Council is the epitome of their attitude.

The organizers of the event didn't want Obama supporters to be upet.

Obama's campaign was offered to have Obama or Biden speak at the event.  You know why they both refused.  And just because they refused, that doesn't mean that Palin should have been uninvited.

The National Jewish Democrat Council is a fraudulent group.

The media would have covered the event.  But now it probably won't get much coverage.

That's right.  What does one thing have to do with the other?  This is not a partisan issue.  The democrats will incinerate just as much as the republicans will if these muslim nazis get the bomb.

And the Democrats policies would have caused the Catastrophe.

Well, I mentioned that Hillary decided not to attend this anti-iran rally because Sarah Palin was going to attend.  Like a bunch of ghetto Jews, the organizers of the rally apologized to Clinton because they should have let her know that Palin was going to attend.  So now they've told Palin that they don't want her there.

First of all, Clinton reacted hysterically when she learned that Palin was going to come, saying that this was not supposed to be a partisan event.  Who made it a partisan event?  Well, Clinton did by refusing to go.  Now these sick wimps decide to uninvite Palin because they don't want to offend the Clinton camp.

This is disgusting.  These Jews are a greater enemy to the state of Israel than any arab who ever lived.

I think an important point here is that Hitlery was terrified of appearing with Palin
on the same stage or dais or venue.  The risk was too great and dangerous.

I think she was scared there would be comparisons made
and Hitlery would be perceived as being upstaged by this "up and coming
public servant",  as Hussein has patronizingly called Palin.

This would have resulted in serious permanent damage to Hitlery's
image and a major positive PR for Palin.

Who gives a $hit what Hillary thinks?

her husband said today, "Sen. McCain & Gov. Palin are terrific."

instead of getting insulted, which should be expected from these **stards that don't care about Israel or the Jewish people, just speak anyway.

the Sen. and Gov. had other speaking engagements today.  due to all the problems on Wall St., etc., polls from Rasmussen today (Fri.) reflect BHO is up 13% in NJ and way up in the polls in Conn.  What is wrong w/these people?  They like being DICTATED TO BY BIDEN?  He gave $900 to charity over a 10 yr. period.  He is a true patriot :beast:

These disgusting vicious animals threatened to remove the Tax-Exempt Status of the Jewish Groups .....isnt that a crime to issue threats
like that

If republicans had pulled that the media would be all over it
day and nite .............

All because the reptile Hitlery is terrified of Palin any publicity
and cheering

Sources: Intense Pressure Led To Palin UN Snub
CBS Has Learned Democrats Threatened To Attack Jewish Groups' Tax Exempt Status Over VP Nominee Invite

Marcia Kramer NEW YORK (CBS) ―  Hillary Clinton won't be speaking at Monday's anti-Iran rally at the United Nations -- and neither will Republican Sarah Palin or any other politicians for that matter.

The reason? A heated behind the scenes tug-of-war.

Sources tell CBS 2 HD that a decision to disinvite Palin from the high profile rally after Clinton pulled out in a huff came as the result of intense pressure from Democrats.

"This is insulting. This is embarrassing, especially to Gov. Palin, to me and I think it should be to every single New Yorker," Assemblyman Dov Hikind, D-Brooklyn, told CBS 2 HD.

Sources say the axes were out for Palin as soon as Sen. Clinton pulled out because she did not want to attend the same event as the Republican vice presidential candidate.

"I have never seen such raw emotion -- on both sides," said someone close to the situation.

The groups sponsoring the rally against Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad speaking at the UN were reportedly told, "it could jeopardize their tax exempt status" if they had Palin and not Clinton or Democratic VP candidate Joe Biden on hand.

So all politicians were disinvited, most prominently, Palin.

"It's an absolute shame that this has happened," Hikind said. "To threaten organizations … to threaten the Conference of Presidents that if you don't withdraw the invitation to Gov. Palin we're going to look into your tax exempt status … that's McCarthyism."

Another Jewish group tried to step into the breach by inviting Palin to a different protest a day earlier.

"I'm absolutely appalled at the behavior of the Democrats," said Bob Kunst of Defenders.net. "I'm a Democrat and for the first time in my life I'm going to vote Republican. I can't take it anymore."

As for Sen. Clinton, she brushed right past CBS 2 HD's Lou Young when he tried to ask her about the issue on Thursday night.

Lou Young: "Were the organizers of Monday's rally right to depoliticize it?"

Clinton walked past Young, said "Thank you all very much" and started hugging people.

Clinton's people tell CBS 2 HD she intends to make some statement of support for the protestors. She is also expected to attack Ahmadinejad's pro-nuke, anti-Israel stance
