London Court Rules Jewish Prayer Not a Nuisance
(IsraelNN.com) A North London court has ruled against a Muslim who claimed that "chanting" and "wailing" from a neighboring Stamford Hills Jewish school and synagogue were a nuisance.
The court ordered the local regional council of Hackney to pay 7,120 pounds (58,600 shekels) in legal costs after deciding that the noise is nothing more than an irritation. Environmental and pollution control officers backed the Muslim, who claimed that the noise caused the floor to vibrate.
