Yay it snowed!

I tried to take a video of it with my cell phone but it didn't show up.

I was so excited and happy earlier, it actually snowed here. That hasn't happened in a few years now and it is always so cool to see it.

I was outside with my new snow leopard shirt and a coat on enjoying it but it was too cold to stay out there so I had to come back in.

Now it looks like it never snowed, it just looks like it rained outside. 

I wish it would snow hard enough sometime to where some of the snow would stick to the ground for a while, but I haven't seen that since I was a little kid.

One time a long time ago we had some kind of ice storm in Houston. It coated everything and was very weird! I haven't seen anything like it before or since. Our poor dogs didn't know what to make of it. We took them outside to do their business and my female dog stepped down on some ice and it cracked under her feet, and she backed away, scared. We had to clear a place in the grass for her so she could do her stuff.

The icicles were cool but they caused a lot of tree branches to come off.

Here it snowed yesterday a lot too. I had to drive very carefully in order not to make a crash.

People get so excited and distracted by snow here I'm glad I wasn't driving. The snow itself is not very much but it is really distracting for people.

I love it.  Last year was a good winter for snow.  I don't like driving in it, but everything else about it is great.  I'd eventually like to move to Rochester, NY.  They get some good snow over there.

I am not much of a winter person, I prefer summer a whole lot more, I don't care how hot it gets in my opinion, it is better then the cold weather.

Fall is my favorite season because the blazing heat is gone and it's not too cold yet and the sky is blue most days.

It never builds up here as far as I know. It just hits the ground like rain and melts immediately. It's still cool to see it floating down though.

I think it actually stayed on the ground a little bit one time but I'm 30 and I only saw that once in my lifetime and it wasn't very much snow just a little.

Well I've never seen a white Christmas in my entire life. It doesn't matter as far as all that religious stuff goes at all. Snow is a real novelty around here though. It looks strange and sort of exotic.
