Dear Chaim,

What are your thoughts on the Munich massacre and do you think this type of thing might happen again?

Dear Chaim,

I saw an old video clip from the late 80s of Irv Rubin on Wally George's show. While introducing him, Wally George said that Irv Rubin is a good friend of his. Did Wally George support the JDL before Irv Rubin was the national chairman? What do you think about Wally George and his TV show?

Dear Chaim,

My question is about government restrictions. What should be the age for drinking, gambling, smoking, serving in the military and should the government try to censor television through the FCC? I personally hate the FCC just because they put warnings on PG-13 shows that are harmless like That 70s Show yet a random cigarette commercial comes on when I'm watching television and some random doctor shows me a smokers lung or an aorta or something like that. I also think that the alcohol age shouldn't be 21 especially for light alcoholic drinks like wine. So a soldier that got his leg shot off fighting for the country would be denied a drink at the bar because he's a year or so underage? If anything, the ages for tobacco and alcohol should be switched, as it's easy to take a sip of wine during shabbot or a sip of beer but it's not so easy to smoke a few cigarettes and expect not to be addicted.

So these are my questions:

What should be the alcohol age?
What should be the tobacco age?
What should be the military age?
What should be the gambling age?
Should the FCC censor television or movies or games?
Do you agree with the tradition European way of not setting age restrictions for most things?
What should be the age for when you are considered an adult or not a minor anymore and you are able to sign contracts?

PS: What do you think about secret societies like Illuminati and the Freemasons?

Shalom Chaim,

Is it true that genius Israeli biochemists are making strides in research into incurable diseases like Alzheimer's, terminal cancer, and aging itself?

Are there any particular laboratories or hospitals whose work you strongly support, and if so how can JTFers contribute to this noble cause?

Thanks and G-d bless,

Shalom Chaim!

Have you seen this anti Israeli tv show they got airing in Turkey? There's some clips of it on youtube:

anyways, my question is this...do you think that Turkey will wage war on Israel soon along side Syria and Iran?
They are anything but friendly to Israel these days, and It appears that they are shifting towards the Islamists.

Second question I have is: Do you think Goldstone will get wacked by someone or some organization like the mossad for his disgusting report against Israel? G-d Knows he deserves to get his head split open for being such a naive self hating Jew!

Toda and G-d Bless!

Chaim shalom.

how are you doing buddy, I often think about you before I sleep at night,
being in your 50's, you probably imagined yourself doing larger things than running a forum, time is running out.
don't you feel that maybe it's time to shift gears and try something different? like running for congress
or becoming a political lobbyist for Israel? it might not be the most ideal situation, but it could get you into Israel.

also, what do you think about Glenn beck and Geert Wilders, are they the real deal?

thanks, Jay-D.

P.S - please make this thread a sticky if you think like me that it's important enough for everyone to see.

Shalom Chaim,

What do you think about that Israel gave 20 terrorists for the Hamas, but they just gave a video? Why doesn't the government protect and start actions for Gilad?

Shalom Chaim, I  just received notice that here in Chicago on Wednesday October 23. 2009 at 6:30 pm, the Spertus Museum of Judica in conjunction with the Illinois Holocaust Museum will host a lecture by the so called Reverend Otis Moss III of the trinity united church. The same racist anti-semetic trinity united church that the obamas attended for 20 years. I'm appalled! What are these self hating Jews thinking? Is this a joke? The museum's address is 630 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago. If I can get enough people, I'd love to picket it.

I have 2 personal questions:

1. Do you use sometimes the "f"-word when you are very angry?

2. What is your resting heart rate? Mine is 74 beats a minute and reaches sometimes 84 a minute even if I am just walking slowly or sitting in a restaurant.

I read in different internet articles that this is rather high.

Dear Chaim:

I'm writing to you again about my crazy Islamo-phile brother in law, who is otherwise an observant Jew.

During Rosh Hashana, he said that the Jews of Germany should have all been kicked out of that country fifty years before the start of World War II because they were taking over the entire place.  I just couldn't believe it.  I had to walk out of the room.

He also believes that the Jews today complain too much about the Holocaust and the the non-Jews are sick of it.  He believes that they cause anti-semitism because of that, and because of the fact that they flaunt their wealth.

Furthermore, he doesn't believe that Osama Bin Laden and other Muslims were behind 9/11, and that America and England have treated the Arab/Muslim world very poorly.  He's no fan of America either, as he's always saying "America this, America that."

So can you please tell me what the best way to respond to him would be?

Thank you very much.

Lisa

Shalom Chaim,
strange as it sounds, whereas in US, Canada, Europe one has a choice of patronizing or not muslime businesses, in Israel one does not. Almost every business here employs arabs. Arabs build roads, construct buildings, work in restaurants, clean streets, labor in back rooms  of grocery stores, etc. These arabs seems peaceful and, some of them, are pleasant and amiable, even more so than Jews. Arabs are everywhere here - they seem to live very nicely with Jews. And Jews are not forced to hire them - no Kadima members are standing behind grocery's owner back and force him to hire arabs. And I kind a feel bad for young arabs who sweep the streets and wash dishes - they deserve better future, just not in Israel.

Now, I didn't go to the "dark side", I simply state the facts - that most of small and large retail business owners in Israel, religious and secular, are greedy and greatly benefit from the cheap arab labor. Most of the Jews here will not boycott businesses employing arabs - it is just impossible.

What is your take on this phenomenon since, rabbi Kahane, ZT"L HY"D never advocated forceful transfer of ALL arabs - those who want to live with Jews and recognize our sovereignty over Eretz Israel, would be welcome to stay here,  without any national rights?
How would you feel, once you move to Israel, G-d willing, if you have to patronize such businesses. What would you advocate doing about a tremendous number of arabs employed by Jews?

Greetings Chaim. Was Joshua's long day an actual extended day, or some kind of optical illusion? Some historians say that the enemy was fighting facing the sun and was blinded by it which gave Joshua the advantage.

On last week's Ask JTF, you said that in 1492 the Spanish Jews had a chance to return to Israel but did not take it.  Can you please tell us about that?

Dear Chaim,
I have noticed that taboos are different from culture to culture and change in different time periods.

For example, in the West a person can say anything that is sexually related and appear naked on TV and still be seen as a normal person.
Yet if a person were to say "I don't like black people..." their career and social standing would be over.

Yet in some countries the exact opposite is true. In some countries it's perfectly normal to say "I hate Jews" and to cheer mass murder, Yet if a woman is seen wearing a t-shirt, street violence can break out.

Why do you think this is?

Is it possible that morality is purely a cultural concept that is relative to the society that people live in?

Shalom Chaim,

Thank you for your always inspiring, perspicacious words.

1)  No one mentions it, but it seems to me that because of our humongous debt, countries like China have a tremendous amount of leverage over us now. These countries could use it to wrangle all sorts of concessions, specifically, classified information regarding missile and satellite technology, and the like. For example, Drudge had this headline: "Obama loosens missile technology controls to China." Our massive debt makes for a potential national security problem. What do you think?

2)  If a 3rd party emerges from the right in America in 2012, wouldn’t that split the right-wing vote and guarantee another four years of Hussein Obama? What do you think?

3)  Does it say somewhere in Tanach (Proverbs, maybe?) that Hashem lifts up the wicked to throw them down, or something close to that? Is this right, or am I imagining it?

Thanks and Chazak v’emahtz!

This week, please tell us the story of Kaleb the son of Jephun.

Shalom Chaim,

I'm interested in your opinion and the ramifications of Rush Limbaugh being forced out of the ownership group that wants to purchase the St. Louis Rams?

From my perspective,   it has the feel of a victory by Jesse Jackson,   Al Sharpton,   and  other racists and leftists  who support Barack Hussein Obama's evil agenda.    Yet another situation in which Conservatives had dirt thrown on them by these hideous type of individuals,   who continue to gain clout at the expense of those who want to see a United States that's reflective of the values of the founding fathers and mothers of the country.

Thanks as always,  eb22.

Dear Chaim,
I have to buy a new car, and I would love to have your input. Clearly I refuse to buy a German car made by those villains from VW, Mercedes, BMW, etc. I am thinking of a small, efficient Japanese car like the Honda fit. Also, I will not buy a big SUV that funds arab muslim nazi terrorists. Should I buy American? I know you have lived in NYC for many years, but have you ever owned a car? Thank you for your wisdom, as always!

Shalom Chaim, thanks for your wonderful ask JTF video's, I really enjoy listening to them. And thanks for my Honorable Winged member rank, I will now work just as hard to help JTF become a mass movement G_D willing.
Here's my question's.
1) How do you feel about Turkey being rejected in joining the EU?
2) Do you think that will slow down the mass Islamic immigrations into Europe?
Thanks and have a wonderful Shabbat.
