You might be disappointed to hear this but I know something about how homosexuals think.  I have lived or worked in San Francisco for parts of my life and career and have had to work with them.  They are the first ones to assume that everyone who does not act or speak like John Wayne is gay (they might say those who do are also and compensating).  The point is that you are playing their game.  They love to believe that everyone is really gay but is in denial (the closet).  They would love to see this thread.  To be brutally honest they would wonder why you guys are harping on this subject if you are comfortable with your heterosexuality.

That's one other thing I absolutely can't stand about homos. They think since they're degenerate, butt-plugging scum, everyone else must be, too. I've seen this behavior from many gays. They also seem to think that if they hit on you and you don't respond positively, you're just trying to "hide it", and that you're somehow uncomfortable with your masculinity. If you lash out at them or object, you're accused of being an intolerant, bigoted homophobe. What's the deal with the word "homophobe", anyway? Why would/should I be scared of gays? And what's wrong with being intolerant and bigoted?  They remind me of blacks in that they go out of their way to p*** you off as much as humanly possible, then wonder why you don't like them.

I don't know about Hollywood being most hetero. 

Back in my liberal NYU days, I used to hang out with lots of drama majors, 99% of the guys were gay. 

As for Richard Gere, I read a while back that used to live on Broadway and 10th Street in Manhattan, near one of the NYU dorms.  Rumor had it that he would come out an openly piss on the streets at nights.
