What exactly is the definition of a "Kahanist"?
« on: December 14, 2009, 12:53:32 AM »
How does a "Kahanist" differ from other Jews?

Rav Kahane's manifesto included five points in particular:

1.Death penalty for terrorists.

2.Compulsory expulsion of Arabs who resist or do not accept Jewish sovereignty over Eretz Yisrael, and no voting rights for those that remain.

3.Compulsory banning of vehicular traffic on the Sabbath. Sunday to be made a day of recreation.

4.Banning of the Histadrut. No income tax; to be replaced by a sales tax of 25%.
Restoration of the Jewish Work Ethic i.e. everyone is put to work.

5. Compulsory teaching of all of the Tenach from Breishis to Divrei Hayamim in all schools and yeshivas.

All these are common sense, and straight out of the Torah.

Yet they are emotive and would be resisted to the death by most Israelis and the Israeli establishment.

Is there anything else that distinguishes a "Kahanist"?

                                                                      בס"ד

You should see the difference between Kach's menifesto and Rav Kahana's ideology. It's not the same since Rav Kahana goes after Torah, Ahavat Israel. Some Kahanists have once said that if the Halacha was to give up on Jewish lands to the Arabs, they would have supported it. Kahanists don't have to always agree with Rav Kahana, but they should be aware to the situation with the Arabs, Islam, Missionary, Lefties, National self-respect, etc.

Let's just say I don't believe in such word as a "Kahanist".
PS: Gentiles can't be Kahanists, let's face it. It's something Torahnic and not just hatred towards the Arabs and Muslims.

If you look at Chaims video about Rabbi Kahane, you will hear him say that there are Jewish Kahanists and Gentile Kahanists.

So I think that clears the issue.

I think Kahanism is more the ability to see truth and act accordingly and an urge, than a trendy mindset that will fade away.
It's genetic.

בס''ד

Rabbi Kahane was actually more popular among Gentiles than among Jews.

Gentile JTFers are Kahanists. I love our righteous Gentile members. And so does Hashem!
