If the bible were to be written today..

And It was after the book of chronicles that prophesy was lost. The first exile was only 70 years for the Jews committed adultery towards the g-d of Israel with other g-ds, yet unlike the 2nd exile  the Jews were united and cared for one another
The G-d of Israel had punished Judah for their baseless hatred for 2000 years. And so There was no temple there was no Israel for such things became an abomination in the eyes of g-d
And so it was in the end of times g-d remember his promise to Jacob and began the ingathering of the exiles and returned the Jews to their land for the nations felt remorse for the atrocities committed to the children of Israel ;Yet in their land the Jews committed the same perversions as was in the time of the 2nd temple and so g-d still did not want sacrifices. After 50 years the remorse of the nations began to cool and the lord sent the nations to rebuke the children of Israel though pens of lightning, for there was no prophet to rebuke them.
And so it was the Jews fell on the lowest plane of spirituality and the lord was unable to make the Jews repent though the sword nor though poison gas or though burning fire and the Jews were stiff-necked. And so the remembering his promise to Jacob he was forced to send a man of g-d to change the ways of his people through unnatural means much in the ways Moses did but greater , for unlike Egypt, the entire nations of the world united against Israel. For the sake of the few righteous Jews the lord brought down his right hand against them .

I prefer the Torah to this synopsis... So much of Judaism is missing from this... The Torah exists as it does because it requires every word... This may be a way to explain Torah on one foot like Hillel was asked...

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities
Duet 16:13-14
