Thoughts on the Wiki Leak
« on: July 26, 2010, 11:09:08 PM »
1) Again it shows the absurdity of the Pollard situation.  They may not even charge the soldier who leaked information that is damaging to our war efforts in Afghanistan yet Pollard rots in prison for helping an ally.
2)  The leaks are interesting in showing how ridiculous it is for us to rely on Pakistan for an ally.  The leaks note that the Pakistani intelligence units who we give aid to help the Taliban kill Americans.
3) Apparently the war effort is not going well, American casualties are rising and the future there is not bright, this leak will only hurt.
We all need to pray for Barack Obama, may the Lord provide him a safe move back to Chicago in January 2,013.

Thank you for bringing up this issue.

I am furious that the traitor who 'leaked' the documents is walking free at this moment. In the old days people like him would be hanging at the end of a noose at this moment. Traitors who expose American fighting men to danger should definitely be incarcerated and possibly executed. Treason is a serious issue and there is a good reason it is.

Of course Obama is too much of a wimp to execute a fly let alone a traitor. This is the upside down Obama world we live in.... G-d willing he will be gone soon enough...

Very interesting news on the WikiLeak story... It appears that the leaked documents strengthen the case that Iran is involved with several terrorist entities in Al Queda and the Taliban...

WikiLeaks Data Bolster Suspicion of Iranian Ties to Extremists
Published July 26, 2010 | The Wall Street Journal

WASHINGTON — Cooperation among Iran, Al Qaeda and other Sunni extremist groups is more extensive than previously known to the public, according to details buried in the tens of thousands of military intelligence documents released by an independent group Sunday.

U.S. officials and Middle East analysts said some of the most explosive information contained in the WikiLeaks documents detail Iran's alleged ties to the Taliban and Al Qaeda, and the facilitating role Tehran may have played in providing arms from sources as varied as North Korea and Algeria.

The officials have for years received reports of Iran smuggling arms to the Taliban. The WikiLeaks documents, however, appear to give new evidence of direct contacts between Iranian officials and the Taliban's and Al Qaeda's senior leadership. It also outlines Iran's alleged role in brokering arms deals between North Korea and Pakistan-based militants, particularly militant leader Gulbuddin Hekmatyar and Al Qaeda.

The apparent links are striking because Iran has historically been a foe of the Taliban, who generally view the followers of Shiite Islam — Iran's predominant faith — as heretics.

One of the more remarkable reports describes a November 2005 trip that departed from Iran in which Mr. Hekmatyar, the militant leader, and Osama bin Laden's financial adviser traveled to North Korea to close a deal with the North Korean government to obtain remote-controlled rockets to use against coalition aircraft in Afghanistan.

Several reports describe Iran as a hub of planning activity for attacks on the Afghan government. A May 2006 report describes an al Qaeda–Hekmatyar plot to equip suicide bombers and car bombs to attack Afghan government and international targets—using cars and equipment obtained in Iran and Pakistan.

By April 2007, the reports show what appears to be even closer collaboration. A report that month describes an effort two months earlier in which al Qaeda, "helped by Iran," bought 72 air-to-air missiles from Algeria and hid them in Zahedan, Iran, in order to later smuggle them into Afghanistan.

This is the normal way thing go in the western world today.

Muslims and bolschewiks can do whatever they want and normal people go even to jail for driving too fast.

This happens in all sectors, not only spying.

Yes, all roads lead to Tehran.  Im still amazed that the Iranian Midget Hitler hasn't been taken out.  Something is wrong that this guy and his regime could still be in power for so long.

I think we had our chance to take him out.  After he stole the last election and the people began to demonstrate against him, he was on the ropes.  That we virtually protected him (Obama announced it was an internal matter that we took no stand on) he crushed the opposition.  That was a tremendous blown opportunity.
We all need to pray for Barack Obama, may the Lord provide him a safe move back to Chicago in January 2,013.
