That is the problem with just looking down on Blacks for their problems.  Unless we do something about it, their problems will spread to our communities.  Blacks were sold on the welfare state and victimization and it has devestated their communities.  As Walter Williams once put it, if the KKK had devised a plan to destroy Black communities and minds they could not have done better than the liberals who gave them welfare and the curent education system.  Unfortunately Whites and others are being seduced by the same mentality.

They were blaming past segregation for the problem in the article. I am willing to bet that during segregation that the problem was much less than it is now. Of course, you are right that a major contributor to the increased problem is all those sick brainwashing things going on.
