Birkat Ram In The Northern Golan Heights

This is a fresh water lake fed by underground springs. The Talmud says it is one of 3 such springs (The others being Hamat in Tiberias and Hamat Gader in The Southeastern Golan Heights near The Yarmuch River and The Jordanian Border.) that opened up during The Flood of Noah that didn't close up afterwards.

I went swimming in Birkat Ram in 2003. It is near a Druze village and it is near Mount Hermon. There is also a Mekorot Water Company facility there that draws water for use. There were also people fishing there.
