Plot To Overthrow Laotian Government Busted

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070606/ap_on_re_us/laos_plot_jack;_ylt=Ak72uX_1SntvipCkObzI8rZG2ocA

Ah, yes. Once again our government sticks up for the butchers and demons of the world--in this case the monstrously genocidal Stalinist regime in power in Laos. Never mind the fact that our government put up the Hmong tribesmen to do its dirty work for it during Vietnam. Never mind the millions of Southeast Asians who were slaughtered in the NVA/Khmer Rouge's savage purges. Nope, we have to be good global citizens and arrest people who are trying to bring freedom to a corner of the world all of mankind has willfully forgotten about.

You know full well that if instead of anti-communists planning to overthrow a Red regime it were Marxist revolutionaries planning on taking over a nation like Taiwan, the U.S. government would politely stay out of the way.  >:(

It's annoying how Chuck Schumer and Patrick Leahy act so obnoxious and don't use actual facts when trying to force the Attorney General to resign.

If either Schumer or Leahy were serious, they would join in with some of the Republicans who are angry about how border patrol agents are in jail.  This is the scandal.

The attorney general has had meetings with Mexico's attorney general and takes orders from him.  They probably tell Gonzales, "Put the Americans in jail.  Free the Mexican drug smugglers."  Gonzales:  "Yes, boss"
