Chapel Hill, NC – The Christian Action Network (CAN) and PRB Films will show its groundbreaking documentary opposing the controversial Ground Zero Mosque on March 16, 2011 – at the Carolina Hotel just a short distance from where Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf will be lecturing in favor of building the Mosque.
CAN is conducting a nationwide tour with the film and survivors of 9/11 targeting cities specifically where Imam Rauf is visiting. This will be the second encounter Rauf and the protest program will be in the same vicinity at the same time.
CAN President and developer of SACRIFICED SURVIVORS: The Untold Story of the Ground Zero Mega-Mosque, Martin Mawyer said, "Our tour was created to combat Rauf’s attempt to garner public support for his GZ mosque. We made this film so that the people who were on the scene on 9/11 or lost family members in those attacks could have their say on the Ground Zero mosque issue."
Following the screening and program, CAN and organizers are planning a candle-light 9/11 Remembrance Walk on the campus at Hill Hall where Rauf will be speaking.

Speakers Include:
* Martin Mawyer, the director and producer of SACRIFICED SURVIVORS. Martin is the president and founder of the Christian Action Network and has worked tirelessly to inform the American public of the dangers of radical Islam. Martin is also the producer of multiple other films, including HOMEGROWN JIHAD: The Terrorist Camps Around U.S. and ISLAM RISING: Geert Wilders' Warning to the West.
* Tim Brown, a retired NYFD and a 9-11 first responder. Tim is also Founder of The Bravest, an organization dedicated to supporting slain members of the NYFD and their families. In Sacrificed Survivors, Mr. Brown's startling testimony was presented during the "World Trade Center Task Force" on January 15, 2002. In excruciating detail, Mr. Brown recounted his rescue efforts of 9-11, which brought him close to death, in helping survivors of 9-11.
* Gadi Adelman, Counter terror expert, author and host of "America Akbar" radio show has studied terror and Islam for over 35 years. He has written extensively on the Ground Zero mosque as well as its founder Imam Feisel Abdul Rauf and his ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. He lectures and teaches to our law enforcement and has been outspoken on the threat of Sharia law and terrorism since returning to the United States from Israel in 1981.
* Ilario Pantano, a combat veteran, and bestselling author who has worked in both global markets and small business and is currently a 2012 congressional candidate. On the morning of September 11th 2001, Pantano was on his way to work in downtown Manhattan when he saw the twin towers burning. Having previously worked at 4 World Trade Center, Pantano lost friends in the attacks. Having fought as a US Marine in Desert Storm, he knew immediately that we were at war.Pantano, also, served as a Sheriff's deputy in North Carolina.
