Has anyone tried drinking Matcha ?

I am a heavy green tea user and I usually prefer to use tea infuser rather then buy the more expensive tea bags. I also tried grinding the tea and making a powdered green tea. It didn't taste too well. Recently I bought on the internet what is supposed to be Matcha grade powdered tea from China. But it tastes and smells different then the tea I know and I am afraid to drink from it for fear they mixed in it who knows what. It doesn't taste bad though. They sent it in a plastic bag which was well sealed but had no marks or labels on it. To be honest the smell reminds me of fresh mowed grass.

So, has anyone ever tried drinking matcha ? can you try to describe the smell, taste and aroma of this thing ?
