The Blind Sheik Must Die

I have been watching coverage of the recent terrorist attack in Libya which the Obama admin attempted to pawn off as a 'spontaneous protest' against a third-rate movie which nobody watched before the filthy arabs began rioting. But what many are now saying is that America was recently threatened by the terrorists and the threat demanded that America release the 'Blind Sheikh' Omar Abdel-Rahman {Yemach Shemo Vezicrho}.. This is the man who inspired the first attack on the World Trade Center in 1993 and was convicted of being the mastermind of this plot.

What is of an equal concern to us at JTF should be his involvement in the assassination of our teacher Rabbi Meir Kahane in 1990 by his follower El Sayyad Nossar {Yemach Shemo Vezichro}... The entire mosque which this blind sheikh was responsible for was a den of murderers and thieves.

He traveled widely in the United States and Canada. Despite the U.S. support for the mujahideen in Afghanistan, Abdel-Rahman was deeply anti-American and spoke out against it, safe in the knowledge that he was speaking Arabic and unmonitored by any law enforcement agency. He issued a fatwa in America that declared lawful the robbing of banks and killing of Jews in America. His sermons condemned Americans as the "descendants of apes and pigs who have been feeding from the dining tables of the Zionists, Communists, and colonialists".[7] He called on Muslims to assail the West, "cut the transportation of their countries, tear it apart, destroy their economy, burn their companies, eliminate their interests, sink their ships, shoot down their planes, kill them on the sea, air, or land".[8]

Preaching at three mosques in the New York City area, Abdel-Rahman was soon surrounded by a core group of devoted followers that included persons who became responsible for the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. One of Rahman's followers, El Sayyid Nosair, was linked to the assassination of Israeli nationalist Rabbi Meir Kahane, founder of the Jewish Defense League. He was subsequently acquitted of murder but convicted on gun possession charges.

Steven Emerson's 1994 television documentary Terrorists Among Us: Jihad in America contains a video of Abdel-Rahman in Detroit calling for jihad against the "infidel".[9]

In 1993, Egypt suffered a spate of terrorist attacks. That year, over 1,100 people were either killed or wounded due to a terrorist attack in Egypt (by comparison, the number for the prior year was only 322).[10] According to the New York Times, these attacks had “shaken the Egyptian Government.”[11]

Abdel-Rahman was the spiritual leader of the terrorists who were conducting these attacks (the terrorists were members of his Al-Gama'a al-Islamiyya).[11] At that time, he was recording his sermons in Brooklyn on cassette tapes and sending them to Egypt. These tapes were duplicated and given to tens of thousands of people in Cairo. In these tapes, Abdel-Rahman called for the murder of infidels, the ousting of Hosni Mubarak, and for Egypt to become a pure Islamic state.[11]

I demand that justice be served and this man die in American prison. He should be granted no 'Mercy' or no 'Kindness' for even during this time when we all ask for kindness and mercy from the Almighty, that the wicked should not be shown any kindness. Being merciful to the wicked brings one to be wicked to the merciful. This man has lead many jihadists to sacrifice themselves at the altar of the cult of death, in the guise of the 'religion of peace'.

Justice demands that this man die, and that he should die soon. May his death serve to prove that there is no place in this world for a man as wicked as Omar Abdul-Rahman and may his soul rot in Gehinnom with the rest of his kind.

USA Today reports that the riot at the U.S. embassy in Cairo appears to have been planned well before the Egyptian media reported on the anti-Islam YouTube film that was blamed for sparking the protest. The protest was reportedly announced on August 30 by Gamaa Islamiyya, an Egyptian terrorist group, to call for the release of its leader, Sheikh Omar abdel Rahman — aka the blind sheik, who is serving a life sentence for the first World Trade Center bombing:

Days of planning and online promotion by hard-line Islamist leaders helped whip up the mobs that stormed the U.S. Embassy in Egypt and launched a deadly attack on the U.S. Embassy in Libya that killed an ambassador and three others. …

The protest was planned by Salafists well before news circulated of an objectionable video ridiculing Islam’s prophet, Mohammed, said Eric Trager, an expert at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.

The protest outside the U.S. Embassy in Cairo was announced Aug. 30 by [Gamaa Islamiyya], a State Department-designated terrorist group, to protest the ongoing imprisonment of its spiritual leader, Sheikh Omar abdel Rahman, who is serving a life sentence in the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center.

Based on the report, it sounds like the anti-Islam YouTube video was a secondary issue — a way for Islamist leaders to stoke anger and draw more bodies out to the embassy protest. If the storming of the embassy was organized by Gamaa Islamiyya — as opposed to a spontaneous uprising — why hasn’t the State Department’s response reflected that? It’s hard to imagine they’re not aware of the group’s activities. In June, the State Department actually issued a visa to a member of Gamaa Islamiyya — again, this is a designated terrorist organization — and met with him in Washington, as part of a delegation of Egyptian leaders. During the meeting, he reportedly asked White House officials to release the blind sheik. Here was the State Department’s defense at the time, which is even more astonishing in light of the latest news:
