Egyptian Copt writer incites hatred for Jews with lies

Egyptian Christian writer incites Copts against Jews     http://www.albayan.ae/opinions/articles/2013-05-14-1.1883155
It isn't only Arab Muslims who hate Jews.

An article by an Egyptian Christian writer, Emile Amin,  that was published both in Egypt and in the UAE decries (false) reports  that Copts are seeking asylum in Israel as well as the true stories that Copts have traveled to Israel to visit holy places.
http://english.alarabiya.net/en/News/middle-east/2013/04/02/Israeli-source-denies-reports-of-Egypt-Copts-feeling-to-Jewish-state.html
In order to dissuade this awful "normalization," Amin stoops to classic Jew-hatred:

The Jews are the primary enemy for the Christians, who have been suffering from them for seven centuries before Islam. The Jewish Talmud shows the spirit according to which Jews should behave towards Christians: "You can, nay, you must kill the best among the Christians."
     [Of course, this quote is fabricated - EoZ}

And what are the Freemasonry and other global organizations anyway, if not secret organizations which were established in 33 AD in order to fight Christianity which was developing secretly, after the Jews couldn't fight it in the open?

The previous Coptic Pope harshly criticized the Vatican for exonerating Jews for the death of Jesus   http://elderofziyon.blogspot.com/2007/05/leader-of-coptic-church-calls-jews.html

If you want to know what medieval Christian antisemitism looked like, the Egyptian Coptic community is a good place to start. Like their Muslim neighbors, they have managed to jealously preserve their 15th century traditions of Jew hatred.

Maybe UNESCO will offer to honor their admirable steadfastness in adhering to their antisemitic beliefs and culture for so many centuries.

True but Copts have never been friendly toward Jews

I think this statement says it all:

Quote
Shenouda stated he had banned Copts from visiting Israel for fear they will “be influenced by the Israeli media, and we will not be able to prevent this. Who knows what ideas they will return with?”

In other words:

No, Copt don't go to Israel. Perhaps you can see there a different picture of Jewish life, from what me and the quranimals show.

Another example how the ignorant can twist the Talmud to say whatever they want it to say to evoke hatred. That passage which they mention in the article has ABSLOLUTELY NOTHING to do with Christianity, rather it was discussing the so-called 'righteous' Egyptians (of the period of Pharoah)...

The question the Talmud posed was 'Who provided the horses with which Pharoah pursued the Jewish nation into the Sea of Reeds?"... The plagues virtually decimated the Egyptian livestock and horses, except for those so-called 'righteous' Egyptians who used Moses warnings of the coming plagues and took their animals into the barn (rather than leave them outside). These Egyptians believed that G-d was capable of bringing these plagues, and yet when Pharoah wanted to chase G-ds chosen people into the sea to kill them, they provided their horses as if nothing happened. Thus the Talmud concludes that even the so-called 'righteous' egyptians deserved death, and should be killed.

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities

Parshah Pearls
(Adapted from the Chochmas Chayim)
Fearing G-d - Egyptian Style

"And he took six hundred chosen chariots and all the chariots of Egypt" (14:7).

Now where did all these animals come from, asks Rashi (bearing in mind that, according to the Medrash, every chariot required three horses)? Did the Torah not categorically state (9:4) "And all the cattle of Egypt died"!

It can only have come from "those who feared the word of G-d" (see Parshah Pearls, Vo'eiro).

It is from here that Rebbi Shimon used to say 'If you come across a 'righteous' Egyptian, kill him; the best snake, crush its brains!'

But who says, asks Rebbi Yosef Chayim, that the G-d-fearing Egyptians gave their animals willingly? Perhaps Paroh commissioned all the available horses for war, with or without the owners' consent (as is often the case today in wartime, even in democratic countries)?

And this question is compounded by the fact that in last week's Parshah, the Torah defines these owners as G-d-fearing. So why should one even begin to suspect them of perpetrating such evil?

The answer is that if the Egyptians had not given their animals of their own volition, there is no way that Par'oh could have possibly collected so many animals in so short space of time (within one day, to be precise). Such a thing would only have been feasible if the owners came running with their animals, to donate them for 'the good cause' for which they were used.

Hence Rebbi Shimon said 'If you come across a 'righteous' Egyptian ... '.

*
The truth of the matter is that even if the Egyptians had come running with their horses, it is difficult to understand how Paroh could have possibly informed the whole of Egypt and then gathered all the horses in Egypt to one spot, all on the same day! But still, it would more difficult still, if they hadn't.
