Obama and his 'Red-Lines'
« on: August 21, 2013, 03:27:25 PM »
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAAHHAHHHAA!

America is THE laughing stock of the entire world. The so-called presumed president has repeatedly set 'red lines' which are supposed to trigger responses from our government, but every time a red-line is crossed (by any nation other than Israel) the American government pretends they didn't see the violation, or just acts like he never said there was a red-line.

Supposedly the use of chemical weapons in syria was supposed to be a 'red-line' for American involvement in the mess in syria. Not that I want us to get tangled up in the current quagmire created by the obama administration (because if he had acted like a man and proved he would enforce 'red-lines' we would not be in the situation we are in now). Now both assad and the muslim brotherhood/al-queda are equally bad for the region, but because of obamas foot-dragging and nambsy-pambsy posturing he has caused another once-stable country in the region to become a flash-pot for future conflicts.

Whatever obama touches in the middle east turns to manure. If only Israel would dis-invite kerry and all other obama lackeys then Israel would gain some more respect. America is a joke, every nation in the world now knows it. The egyptians hate obama even more than GWB because of obamas support for the terrorist muslim brotherhood.

Justice Jeanine Pirro expresses my disdain for this imbecile who occupies our white house:

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities
Duet 16:13-14

Today the news contains stories of another use of chemical weapons by the syrian government against the terrorists. I do not mourn the deaths, but rather I am pointing out how feckless the obama administration is.

Israeli Defence Minister Moshe Yaalon said on Wednesday that the Syrian government had used chemical weapons, backing opposition claims of multiple deadly strikes around Damascus.

"In Syria, the regime has used chemical weapons and it's not the first time," Yaalon told Israeli defense correspondents.

"It's a life and death struggle between a regime based on the Alawite minority and a disparate opposition composed of Sunni Muslims, some Muslim Brotherhood members, others linked to Al-Qaeda.

"We don't see any end to the fighting - even the fall of (President Bashar) al-Assad won't bring it to a halt, there will a bloody settling of accounts over a long period," the minister said.

"We could see the implosion of Syria with the Alawites controlling the western part - the coastal region and a corridor to Damascus - and the Kurds and Sunni [Arabs] controlling the east and north."

The head of research at Israeli military intelligence, Brigadier General Itai Brun, already said in April that he believed the Syrian regime had made use of its chemical weapons stockpiles against the rebels.

Shortly after Yaalon's comments, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu was quoted on Wednesday as saying that it was clear that chemical weapons had been used, and called for an immediate UN investigation.
"Use of chemical weapons in Syria is evident from the footage coming from there," Davutoğlu said in an interview broadcast on Turkey's Kanal 24 television. "We have called for an immediate investigation by the UN teams."

The Syrian National Council, Syria's main opposition group, accused the government of "massacring" more than 1,300 people in chemical weapons attacks near Damascus on Wednesday, saying many of the victims choked to death.

Other groups dispute that figure though. The Damascus Media Office, another opposition group, put the death toll at 494, in attacks across six different suburbs of Damascus.

The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights issued an even more conservative estimate of "at least 100" dead, claiming that "poisonous gas" was fired from rockets.

Perhaps predictably, Syrian state media denied that any chemical weapons had been used at all, branding the reports "baseless."

The accusations came as a team of UN inspectors was in Syria to probe previous allegations of chemical weapons strikes levelled against both sides during the 29-month conflict.

Western governments demanded immediate access for the inspectors to investigate the new allegations. Russia, a longstanding ally of the Damascus regime, echoed the call for an inquiry but said it suspected a "provocation" by the opposition and its foreign backers.

Red-Line Shmed-Line

The U.N. Security Council is to hold an emergency session Wednesday over reports from Syria's opposition that hundreds of civilians – including many women and children – have been killed in chemical weapons attacks.

Activists and rebel fighters accused Syrian President Bashar Assad’s forces of firing chemical-tipped weapons into rebel-held areas near the capital, Damascus, in the early hours.

The Obama administration "strongly condemned" the reported use of the weapons which, if confirmed, would be by far the worst known use of poison gas during the country’s deadly civil war.

The White House called for Assad to allow an immediate and transparent U.N. investigation of the incident.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest said Wednesday that a U.N. team is on the ground in Syria to conduct the investigation and acknowledged that the United States does not have independent confirmation that chemical weapons were used.

Yes he lied again. In this case it is good his red line was a BS statement because it would be very bad if US troops will get involved in the fighting in Syria.
