   Actually your wrong, he was for it. I remember listening in on one of his speeches that he was for taking the money that Germany owned Jews for the property that they looted.

 And nothing wrong if necessary to buy weapons and such or technology if and when needed for Israel's defense. It depends if it is good for us or not, that is the bottom line.

I don't have enough info yet regarding the Destroyers deal, but the Submarine Israel has acquired from Germany at a subsidized price are an essential weapon system that significantly enhances Israel's military capability. There really are no better alternative then buying these German subs, probably none actually.
