This is very eerie that the feds want to control the biggest source of open communication in the world for "thought crimes". Undoubtedly, this will only include groups that liberals don't like such as conservatives, Jews, Christians and fiercely defend Muslims, Gays, radical communists etc...

I doubt this will pass in Congress but the thought that it could is very disheartening that people would elect officials like this.

You haven't made it in the conservative movement until some liberal organization calls you a hate group, and liberal organizations are considered mainstream. So probably any truly right wing page will be shut down.

We don't advocate violent acts though so we should be ok for a little while but they may take anything a troll posts as if the forum leadership is advocating it.

In Israel the Kahanist web presence is tiny, JTF's hebrew forum is one of the few decent sized Kahanists hebrew sites. But at the same time the ideology has many supporters because the Israeli government is constantly putting pressure on any Kahanist web sites.

We could face the same thing in the USA very soon.
