Court Hearing of Milorad Ulemek (english subtitles)

Milorad Ulemeks Prison Adress:

Milorad Ulemek Legija, Kazneno Popravni Zavod u Požarevcu, Zabela Požarevac, Zabela bb, 12000 Požarevac, Serbia.

It was also braught to our attention that Milorad „Legija" Ulemek was beaten by guards in prison!

(18th July 2013)The incident allegedly took place during one of the walks, the guards thought the former JSO commander wanted to escape. The former JSO commander Legija (Milorad Ulemek) who is convicted for several serious offenses (trumped up charges) was beaten during a walk in the special prison unit of Zabel, because the guards suspected that he wanted to escape. In fact, writes the daily "Informer", citing unnamed sources, Legija was beaten by three guards, and the case was allegedly "covered up" most likely due to the excessive use of force.- He was brought in handcuffs and accompanied by three guards. They walked in steady stream, until the moment when Legija suddenly "jerked" and pulled away from the hand guard. To date it is not clear why he did it, but the guards reactedwithin a second, thinking that the former JSO commander could escape them - said the unnamed source of this newspaper, adding:- A guard has beaten with full force against Legijas head, of which Legija stumbled and fell. Immediately, the three men began to kick him mercilessly. When he was well licked, he was sent back to his cell. The Source by the "Informer" noted that this is the first alleged escape attempt from the Special Prison, the so-called "Serbian Alcatraz".- Legija's chances to escape are minimal, because the Special Division guards are with rifles, and behind the walls are day and night guards and gendarmerie units.
