It makes me sad that people had to kill God's beloved creatures.

Watch the unedited video.  He was dragging kid around by his leg and running all around.  It was not safe.

The also should have killed the mother as well for letting the kid get away from her.

If the parents had acted as parents the child never would have gotten into the gorillas cage.

Since the gorilla habitat is an ape short, maybe we could donate Trump.

An old mangy albino orangutan with rabies would be quite the attraction.

Yes.  What else could they do?
How do we compare the life of a 'rare gorilla' to that of a child?
That there is outrage astonishes me.

Be very CAREFUL of people whose WORDS don't match their ACTIONS.

It might have been too risky to use a powerful tranquilizer instead in order to save
the child and spare the gorilla. However, the parents have to realize that they're very
much to blame in view of their irresponsible actions vis-a-vis the kid.

It was just an ape going after one of their own.

Not always true. Their is soo much a parent can or cannot do. Accidents happen.

Are you implying that the zoo keeper is black or that the child is black? As much as I know, I think the child is white. I didn't see the zoo keeper.

You are correct, BUT the zoo would have faced a financially ruinous lawsuit had they not killed the Gorilla. At this point they can say they did everything in their power to end the situation. The so-called parents (and some scum lawyer) will still sue, but they will settle for much less.  Yes it is a sad world that we live in.

The child is black.  And the parents are just as much to blame as that gorilla.

Do they not say that the child was black on the news because that would be racist? After all, aren't blacks the more politically correct protected group than PETA type people?
