I like to prove that to myself by reading Tanach, deciding what the words mean, and then embarassing myself over and over again when I read the comments and find out what it actually means. Every now and again a Rabbi says my idea is possible though. If I read comments first I don't come up with my own ideas, how could I compete? It's why in a Jewish court, the most junior Rabbi speaks first and the wisest last. Definitely if I didn't read the comments after though, the Torah I think I know would be a series of mostly pathetic distortions, as with anyone alive today.

What do you mean you were told it was not within the purview? Ask why. We have the only religion you can ask why to everything, and there's always a good answer. Yeshiva students are encouraged to come up with their own ideas and even publish them in this magazine even if they're not completely right, because it encourages us to think deeper. I don't see why a Noachide can't make a novel idea about the seven laws or something that applies to him. You were given all the same mental faculties that every person was. Maybe there's a reason, get it, if not maybe he's saying that because he's worried you'll come up with an idolatry chiddush or something. You can't isn't an answer in Judaism, you can't because? I am not aware of how to just accept something without knowing why first. Does not compute. Maybe he's telling me what to do. Prove Hashem wants me to do it or I don't. This is a useful attitude when studying.

I guess. When the messiah comes I'll get to sit there all day and study and discover all the secrets of the universe, and all the righteous gentiles will go around enjoying the world however they like and they'll come to me and my brothers and ask questions and we'll get to teach them what we learned. It's very exciting to me to have an eternity to sit and learn, I have come to see that to no gentile I know of would that be desirable, so OK makes sense.

No you'll like party and stuff and stuff gentiles love to do, and you'll definitely want to know the secrets of the universe, so you'll come to us and ask and we'll be all happy to tell you everything we learned. At least that's my pathetically limited understanding of this messianic prophesy.
