In Laws of Kings 10:9, Maimonides rules that a Gentile who rests, even on a weekday, observing that day as a Sabbath, is obligated to die. In the Guide for the Perplexed, Part 2, Chapter 31, he mentions the principle of Creation which will spread in the world, when all peoples keep Sabbath on the same day.
