The transformation of a previously Nazi state into a presiding member of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance should be cause for celebration. If you think Croats are inherently and incorrigibly evil, that's no different from the demonization the Jews faced.

Croats have continued to commemorate Ustasha soldiers and try to minimize and sanitize their Nazi past, so I'm just saying they are not really the best country to be in charge of educating people about the Holocaust, or to hold positions of authority in Jewish-related organizations.  Croats are not inherently evil just because of where they were born, so it is definitely something to celebrate if individual Croats disagree with the actions of their forefathers, repent and become Noahides, etc.  Also, demonizing Croats would not be in the same category as demonizing Jews, because HaShem never said "I will bless them who bless Croats and curse him who curses Croats."

The Croatian government commemorates the Bleiburg tragedy. Because I attended one of these commemorations, I speak with some authority on what takes place there.

There is no praising of Nazis or their actions. The event commemorates the fact that tens of thousands of Croatian civilians and soldiers who surrendered to allied forces were murdered without a trial. That is a tragedy.
