Supreme Court bans another execution
« on: November 15, 2007, 02:33:33 PM »
"The U.S. Supreme Court has halted the execution of child killer Mark Dean Schwab. His appeal claimed the chemicals used by the state in lethal injections violate the Eighth Amendment ban on cruel and unusual punishment."

This is so stupid.  Not that long ago, we hung, shot, or gassed convicted murderers.  Now we can't give them an injection because it might be too "cruel".  Of course, they're the same people who get state-funded flu injections every year...

Can the supreme court please nominate a non-cruel way of executing somebody? ::)
