Well he was nice and polite....he thanked me for seeing things from a male prespective, as far as divorce, custody and those things are involved, and I really DO think that most guys get a really raw deal when it comes to divorce and their children.  He hasnt emailed in a while, and I was sort of surprised to hear from someone Id never met on here, he was just reading posts he said.

Whoah there!  Take a little step back.  The Satmar are not zionistic (and sometimes I don't blame them...), but they're Orthodox Jews, and they're certainly not misogynist.  I can assure you, Adam is not frum.

Don't get me wrong, I am not Satmar - and the people among them who hate Chabad, I dislike extremely.  But there's no need to call them things they aren't, and "misogynist," is one of those things.

I agree with OdKahaneChai, just becuase they dont like the state doesnt make them bad Jews. Infact many other groups of Jews didnt want the state either. Dont let their disagreeing opinion spill-over to other things that they do not do. Actually in one area I respect the Satmer's for not taking any $ from the state to support their Torah institutions, in order for the state not to have any influence.
