This is true.

However, the U.S.A. was founded for Christendom, Christianity being the prevailing religion in Europe as well as the Colonies.

Some of the most prominent Revolutionaries were Freemasons; prerequisite for membership is belief in a Supreme Creator Being (hence, the imagery and titles relating to a Grand Architect, Grand Design, The Great Work, etc...).

Others are known to us today as simply "Deists"; they believed in a Supreme Being of a less personal nature...one difficult to define.

Many of the Signers were Christians, who for the most part no longer wanted to live in a theocratic monarchy.

George Washington returning from one of the Revolutionary meetings, went to his close Jewish friend Chaim Solomon, and told him "We have decided to accept you [the Jews] as equals!".

Completely ABSENT from the Founding Fathers, were Marxists, Leninists, Trotskyites, Stalinists, Maoists, and even the members of the "Peoples Party".

"The People" may choose atheism, international or national socialism, or any other social structure completely independent of faith in a Supreme Creator, but we JEWS NOT ONLY BELIEVE IN GOD, BUT WE ALSO KNOW THAT GOD IS REAL AND GOVERNS THE UNIVERSE.
